National Gardening Week is run by The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) between the 1st and 7th of May with the theme, ‘Knowledge is Flower’.

National Gardening Week raises awareness of gardening and horticulture, encouraging people to take part in a healthy and productive outdoor lifestyle. In looking after our green spaces we’re often looking after ourselves too.

Gardening or relaxing in green spaces is great for our mental health.  Learning about the links between biodiversity, health, and climate change helps us to see opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment.
