Wellbeing at Work Festival is back!
23 March 2018

SCFT is running a month long series of events to celebrate wellbeing at work this May.
Four roadshows at SCFT sites
Wellbeing in the workplace is important. Healthy, happy staff are a good thing, for colleagues, for patients and for themselves too! We firmly believe that self care is sustainable healthcare.
This is why we were delighted when Wellbeing@Work Festival was so well received last year. It is also why we’re bringing it back this year.
We’ll be visiting four sites across SCFT in May with our wellbeing roadshow.
- 1st May – Brighton General Hospital, Arundel Suite
- 8th May – Chichester Bicentennial Building, Training Rooms
- 15th May – Crowborough Community Hospital
- 22nd May – Horsham Community Hospital, Wheelchair Service Meeting Rooms
All events will run from 12 to 3pm. We appreciate that staff need to get lunch on their breaks, so the roadshows are designed to be dipped into, and even if you can only manage a 10 minute walk around you should find it worth the while!
A range of stalls will be available offering advice, guidance and maybe even the odd freebie, all to do with boosting wellbeing in mind and body.
Like last year, we have a selection of free taster session running across the month at various sites.
SCFT staff can book these via the Pulse.
We have some fantastic things on offer including yoga, mindfulness, hand massage, self defense for fitness, Indian head massage, Bowen technique, Alexander technique and walking groups or knit and natter classes.
After last years taster sessions several turned into regular classes for staff.
We’re able to add taster sessions right to the last minute so if you are trained to instruct in something like yoga, Pilates or zumba, or just have a passion for something like reading, sewing or cycling and would like to set up a group then here’s how to get involved.
