Webinar: Air Pollution and Mental Health
25 August 2021
By Hayley Carmichael
Our environment and health are intrinsically linked. Air pollution is a key example of how our actions change our environment, with negative consequences for our mental and physical wellbeing. This free webinar for Sussex Partnership staff explores the issue and ways we can help tackle the problem.
A free webinar to help Sussex Partnership staff understand the links between air pollution and mental health
Sussex Partnership is working hard to reduce its impact on the environment in line with targets set out in NHS England’s Greener NHS agenda. The Trust is delivering on this through its Care Without Carbon programme which continues to develop.
Air pollution is a growing issue with real impacts on our health. Staff at Sussex Partnership are invited to tune into this webinar to get a better understanding of the problems we face in Sussex and the ways that air pollution impacts on mental health.
The webinar finishes with ideas for changes we can make to help improve our local air quality as a Trust and individually.
The webinar takes place on Wednesday 8th September from 1pm to 2pm.
