Benefits of a brisk walk

All walking is beneficial, but for the greatest benefits to heart, lungs and blood pressure, brisk is best.

A brisk 30-minute walk (doing approx 4 mph) will result in burning 150 calories, as long as the speed is maintained. For this final challenge, we’d like everyone to incorporate one brisk walk (min. 30 mins) into this week’s schedule – before, during or after work.

Enjoy the challenge and we hope you all feel better, happier and more productive thereafter.
