You are invited to join us for the South East Greener NHS virtual roadshow on 20th October from 2pm to 3pm.
Free to attend for everyone: come along and find out about our route to Net Zero Carbon in the NHS
We’re holding a SE Greener NHS virtual roadshow next week. This is open to all NHS staff across the South East.
There is no need to sign up in advance you just click on the link below on the day (October 20th, 2pm to 3pm). The event will also be recorded so you can catch it later.
Hear from Nick Watts, NHS National Sustainability Officer, Vaughan Lewis our regional SRO who will provide an update on our priorities and progress as a region and hear about innovative Greener NHS projects taking place across the South East. The Care Without Carbon team will also be part of the programme.
Why is the NHS taking action to address climate change?
The climate emergency is a health emergency. Climate change threatens the foundations of good health, with direct and immediate consequences for our patients, the public and the NHS.
What are we already doing?
In October 2020, the NHS became the world’s first health service to commit to reaching net zero carbon. Thanks to the efforts of staff across the NHS, we’re already making progress towards this ambitious goal.
Join us for the South East Greener NHS roadshow to hear from our national Greener NHS team, hear how we’re doing as a region and hear about innovative Greener NHS projects from across the region. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you have.
