Your weekly motivation for walking more is here with week two focusing on getting out at lunch time; and don’t forget your walks will count towards the Step Up Challenge too, double the fun!

The beauty of a lunchtime walk is your challenge for week 2 of Walking Works...

Hope you lived up to last week’s challenge and gave a walking meeting a go. It would be good to see more of us doing these and making them part of our meeting culture.

Challenge for week 2: Lunchtime walk!

If your commute has changed to just travelling from your bedroom to your kitchen table on a morning or you’re now driving into work instead of walking for the bus/train, you might be missing out on those valuable minutes of exercise that really add up. Why not use your lunchbreak as a chance to go for a walk?

You’ll arrive back feeling more alert and ready for the afternoon ahead. It would be great if everyone could get out for a least one lunchtime walk this week. Let your colleagues know how you feel afterwards!

Don’t forget to pledge
